Because Scott is a vegetarian, all our products are completely vegetarian, containing no animal fats. We start with the finest food grade oils like olive, palm, almond, and coconut. We then add to them even more healthy ingredients like herbs and herbal extracts, natural clays, micas, and oxides for coloring, and plant essential oils and specially formulated soap fragrance oils for scent. What we end up with are pure simple handmade soaps. We believe they are among the finest soaps available anywhere at any price. The Soap Fairy was founded in 1997, when Scott, working on his Master's Degree in Natural Health had to make herbal soap for a final project in an herbal medicine class he was taking. He loved the soap and he loved the process and before long, soap, in all shapes, sizes and colors covered every corner of his house. Encouraged by rave reviews from family and friends he began selling his creations and eventually, using the feedback from his customers to fine tune his craft, he set up shop full time as a soap maker. Eight years later, The Soap Fairy bought a falling down carwash, which has been converted into the new Soap Fairy Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing Plant. There they do everything from making soaps, lotions, balms, salts and bath and body specialty items, designing the website and ad layouts, promoting the business locally and internationally, and having fun doing it all.

At The Soap Fairy, we believe that natural is better, less is more, and that things that are good for you can look, feel and smell good and should bring a little relaxation in an often stressful world.
